Children's Murals

Alongside my book illustration work I am now exploring my work on a much larger scale, in the form of murals for children.

From March to July 2008 I did a piece of voluntary work at Tapley Avenue Children's Centre in Wrexham. Tapley were looking for a local artist to create a mural for the children in their main corridor which leads to the children's bedrooms and bathroom. I worked on the mural on a voluntary basis, which took just over 50hours to paint. Here are a couple of photos showing a section of the mural in progress!
