Hello from Ali!

Hello! I'm Ali Lodge, a freelance children's illustrator, author and mum based in Cheshire, UK. I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember and followed that passion through art college and university, gaining a degree in illustration, and a master's degree in illustration for children. My first picture book, Clever Chameleon, was published by Barefoot Books in 2005. Since then, I've illustrated a wide variety of projects for children - from picture books and baby books to reading schemes, school and library materials, Welsh-language titles and murals. I love creating playful, colourful illustrations that spark imagination and bring stories to life.

Things I Can Do

Daily life for me is looking after my 3 beautiful children whilst trying to juggle these other main interests - all at the same time as avoiding the housework.
